Dhamma Banga is a newer Vipassana centre at Bamangachhi near Sonarpur, on Kolkata's southern edge, that held its first 10-day course in 2024. It runs the free 10-day silent course in the S.N. Goenka tradition about twice a month in Hindi and English, plus short courses for old students and 7-day courses for teenagers.
